BMI Calculator — Terms of Use

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BMI Calculator (the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1) The App

BMI Calculator is a mobile application that allows you to calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI) using your height, weight, age, and gender.

The App provides BMI calculations and general health-related information and categories for informational purposes only.

  • Not Medical Advice: The information provided by the App is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • Reliance: Any reliance you place on information provided by the App is strictly at your own risk.

3) Eligibility

You may use the App only if you are permitted to do so under applicable law. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4) License and Acceptable Use

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except where permitted by law.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App’s operation or security features.
  • Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair your device.

5) Data Storage and Privacy

The App stores height, weight, and general BMI data locally on your device for your convenience. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we handle your information. By using the App, you acknowledge you have reviewed it.

6) Third-Party Components

The App may include third-party libraries (e.g., standard Flutter plugins). Your use of those components may be subject to their respective licenses and terms.

7) Updates and Changes

We may provide updates, patches, or new versions of the App. The App may change over time, and some features may be modified or discontinued.

8) Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE APP’S DEVELOPER(S) BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

10) Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App if you materially breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, the license granted to you ends.

11) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence, unless local law requires otherwise.

12) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective date” above. Continued use of the App after changes become effective indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
