Effective date: March 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Torch (the “App”) handles information when you use it.
We do not collect personal information. The App does not require you to create an account, and it does not request or collect identifiers such as your name, email address, phone number, precise location, or contacts.
The App may request Camera permission (on some platforms this permission is required to control the device flashlight).
If you deny this permission, the App may not be able to control the flashlight.
Because the App does not collect personal data, we do not use personal data for analytics, profiling, advertising, or marketing.
The App does not store personal data on our servers. Any operational state (e.g., whether the flashlight is currently on/off) is handled locally on your device and is not transmitted to us.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information because we do not collect it.
The App may include open-source libraries and platform services necessary to function (for example, Flutter framework and a torch/flashlight control plugin). These components may process non-personal, device-level signals only as required to operate the flashlight feature.
If you integrate additional services (e.g., crash reporting, analytics, ads) in the future, this policy should be updated accordingly.
The App is not designed to collect personal information from children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
We take reasonable steps to keep the App minimal in data usage. Since we do not collect or transmit personal data, privacy risk is limited primarily to the device permission model. You can manage permissions at any time in your device settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective date” above.
